EIRE Systems is 人情日本务工中介费用working with a global Insurance industry company in Tokyo and seeking to hire a bilingual (JPN+ENG) IT Support Engineer for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure and SCCM tools.

Working between the local Japan IT Helpdesk and the regional/global infrastructure teams, you’ll play a critical role in bridging the gaps between these groups. 

The support engineer will become able to independently perform the following tasks and work to continuously improve knowledge and skills in virtual desktop infrastructure and related technologies (Windows, networking, security, and SCCM, among others). 

• VDI related Incident Support - respond to user inquiries and troubleshoot virtual desktop environments. 
• Infrastructure Support in communication with Asia region team - perform PC/VDI software and hardware upgrades, patching; participate in pilot testing, reporting, and resolving defects. 
• Ticket Management - take charge of escalated tickets from DSS teams, understand problems and plan and implement solutions
• Provide support for new installations for new user issues, proposing solutions in compliance with internal standards and processes.
• Testing and Deployment – testing business applications and deployment to new client devices. 
• SCCM Software Packaging - distribute and deploy software packages, with guidance from regional teams
• Documentation and Training - create VDI system documentation and operational procedures. Provide training and support materials.. 
• Project Participation – contribute to planning, designing, and implementing new PC/VDI projects.

Requirements: 

• Business level Japanese and English proficiency. 
• Experience in PC/VDI software/hardware upgrades and patching. 
• Technical knowledge of Windows environments, networking, security, and SCCM tools. 
• Ability to recognize problems and implement solutions independently. 
• Awareness of SLA and ability to perform appropriate escalations. 
• Effective communication and information sharing within the IT team. 
• Ability to create documentation and provide training and support to end users. 

Nice Have Skills/Experience:

• Experience in new systems infrastructure deployment or improvement projects (including design, planning and implementation).
• Automation skills/knowledge/experience, or background in coding or software development.
