職務要件

Responsibilities: 

• Plan and manage overall awareness program
• Coordinate and conduct seminars and workshops in both Japanese and English, in various settings such as companies, municipal government offices, and schools
• Develop and update content for the seminar and workshop
• Planning and executing events
• Develop, implement, and manage PR and marketing campaigns for the awareness program
• Represent the foundation in public speaking or lecturing engagements related to the awareness program or the foundation
• Oversee the editing and publication of our web and print magazine
• Build and maintain relationships with collaborators
• Handle inquiries related to our awareness programs
• Provide guidance and support to the RFTC Japan team when needed

Required qualifications:

• University Degree
• Over 3 years of professional work experience
• Fluent in Japanese and English.
• Native-level Japanese proficiency
• English proficiency at the level of Eiken Pre-1, or TOEIC 900 points and above, or IELTS 5.5~, or TOEFL iBT 72~
• Availability to start working within one month after receiving a job offer
• Proficient in programs including Google Workplace, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Experience in independently planning, facilitating, and conducting seminars, workshops, and related events
• Experience in successfully planning and executing events
• Strong public speaking and communication skills both in Japanese and English

An Ideal Candidate: 

• Understands and is aligned with RFTC Japan’s mission for breast cancer awareness
• Has an interest in and passion for breast cancer awareness and related topics, and has the desire to continually learn and grow
• Has a high level of proficiency in communicating in both Japanese and English. Has experience in public speaking through seminars, workshops, speeches, etc.
• Highly motivated and capable of working proactively and autonomously
• Able to collaborate with teams to achieve goals, in dynamic environments with changing conditions
• Demonstrates creative and effective problem solving, with project management skills
• Good physical and mental wellbeing

• Specialization in related fields such as education, public health, or welfare

Employment Type:

Full-time (3-month probationary period with full salary)

Work Location:

Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo, 3-6-28 Osaki, Izumi Osaki Building 6F (Approximately 5 minutes' walk from JR Osaki Station)

• Location-specific position
• No domestic or overseas relocations
• Office-based

Working Hours:

9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (including 1-hour lunch break)

Salary:

Monthly salary starting from ¥300,000~

• Will be determined by experience and skills
• Salary increase is available, performance-dependent
• Fixed rate, no overtime pay

Holidays and Leave:

• Saturdays and Sundays
• National public holidays
• Winter vacation
• Paid leave (eligible for 10 days, after 6 months of full-time employment)

Who we are:

The NPO Run for the Cure Foundation (RFTC Japan) is a specified nonprofit corporation in Tokyo under the jurisdiction of the Tokyo Government. Since 2003, we have been promoting breast cancer education and awareness in both Japanese and English speaking communities throughout Japan.

Through the funds raised by our annual charity events and sponsorships, we conduct a range of awareness programs, such as our “Hana-me” breast cancer seminars and workshops, community events designed for breast cancer survivors, and the publication of the quarterly bilingual magazine PiNK, which focuses on breast cancer and women’s health.

Currently, our organization is staffed by three full-time members who oversee and manage our charity events and awareness programs, as well as our community of collaborators and volunteers who are a part of our fundraising and community outreach efforts.

The main responsibility of an Awareness Program Manager is to supervise and drive the projects within our awareness program. This includes a wide range of duties, such as conducting seminars and workshops at companies, municipal government offices, and schools; and building and maintaining relationships with collaborators; planning and managing outreach events;  overseeing the editing of our web and print magazine. This role also involves public speaking, university lectures, and the management of social media operations, among other responsibilities. We entrust a broad spectrum of tasks to this position, recognizing its crucial role in supporting the core mission of RFTC Japan.
