About MFG

Media Futures Group (MFG) is a part of EssenceMediacom, the largest agency within GroupM with 10,000 employees in 125 offices, handling close to $25bn in billings. About the role:
Media Planning Senior Executives provide a vital supporting role to Essence’s Media Planning Managers. You will manage communications between many stakeholders including  publishers, adtech companies and our internal discipline POCs ensuring for smooth planning and execution of digital campaigns. You will be working directly with clients, and provide ongoing planning support from pre-post campaign. Campaigns may include both upper-mid funnel branding campaigns, to lower funnel Direct Response campaigns. You  have the opportunity to work with FMCG, software and consumer electronic campaigns.

Some of the things we’d like you to do:

  • Consumer Insights research using syndicated tools (e.g. GWI, TGI, etc), proprietary tools (e.g. GroupM tools) and 1st party data sources
  • Liaison with internal channel teams and publishers in order to co-create tactical media plan presentations
  • Assist the Planning Manager with the successful & accurate launch of campaigns
  • Work with channel specialists to collate regular reports for on-going campaigns 
  • Co-create post-campaign analysis presentations
  • Responsible for creative spec sheet management
  • Work across borders with managers and stakeholders overseas
  • Collaborate with lead agencies on ongoing planning agenda items

スキル・資格

A bit about yourself:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in digital media,  advertising, marketing, in-house media agency
  • Japanese language abilities is a “nice to have” as you will be working with our team in Tokyo
  • Some knowledge of digital media channels such as search, social, display, video or programmatic media
  • A keen interest in people’s relationship with brands, media and technology
  • Excitement to learn new processes and ways of working
  • Strong organizational skills, deadline-driven
  • Problem solving skills and creative thinking with strong reasoning skills
  • Ability to work independently but also collaborate in a team environment
